Common Questions
How do I log a work day?
Tap the + button at the bottom of the screen to start your day and enter your starting mileage. At the end of your shift, tap the ✓ button to enter your final odometer reading and parcels delivered. CourierLog calculates your earnings automatically.
How is my pay calculated?
CourierLog multiplies your standard parcels by your standard rate, and your low-rate parcels by your low rate, then adds them together. You can set both rates in Settings. For example: 130 standard parcels at £0.85 plus 10 low-rate parcels at £0.50 gives you £115.50.
Can I edit a past entry?
Yes. Go to the Archive tab, find the entry, and tap it. You can edit any field or delete the entry entirely.
Where is my data stored?
All your data is stored locally on your iPhone. Nothing is sent to any server. If you delete the app, your data is removed from your device.
Can I import existing data?
Yes. CourierLog supports CSV import. Go to Settings and tap 'Import CSV'. The file should have columns: date, startMiles, endMiles, totalParcels, lowRateParcels. Dates should be in yyyy-MM-dd format.
What does the tax year setting do?
CourierLog can show your stats grouped by UK tax year. The default start date is 6 April, matching the HMRC tax year. You can change this in Settings if needed.
Is CourierLog free?
Yes. CourierLog is completely free with no in-app purchases, subscriptions, or ads.
